Menswear and custom tailor Richard James commissioned Grosvenor Wilton to create a custom carpet for their 2,500-square-foot office and boutique on Clifford Street, London, which is directly across from their Savile Row location. The Grade II listed Georgian townhouse presented as "The House of Richard James" underwent a significant £2 million renovation.
Three floors make up the renovated area, which was designed by international interior designer David Thomas and features a look that embodies the brand's fusion of style and energy. The interiors have a vivid color scheme with burgundy, yellow, orange, and blue hues, as well as patterns influenced by the apparel. The client's tie collection served as the inspiration for the blue polka-dot carpet that covers the stairs leading to the first-floor lounge.
